Starting Gross Salary : 1 867,06 €

Primary Mission

The Attendant is responsible for the day-to-day management of the staff lounge reserved for cabin crew. He or she ensures the smooth operation of the facilities, equipment, and linens, while strictly enforcing the lounge’s rules and regulations. He or she forwards requests for assistance regarding any detected issues to the appropriate departments. The role involves working from 5:00 a.m. to midnight, 7 days a week, with mandatory attendance upon the locker room’s opening and in uniform.

Task List

Planning for the Day

  • Verifying that IT tools are functioning properly
  • Verifying the availability of the list of scheduled reserve flight attendants
  • Checking Loaner Cell Phones: Inventory and Charge Level
  • Checking Room Keys
  • Checking the cleanliness and tidiness of the premises (including the rooms)
  • Check and make sure there is an adequate supply of flat linens, throws, irons, and pillowcases

Cabin Crew Welcome

  • Be present and available at the Reserve, the Check-in Counter, or nearby to assist with welcoming cabin crew
  • Assign a cell phone to the cabin crew member and record it in the associated app

Room Management

  • Track room reservations
  • Ensure that the room is cleaned up when it is vacated
  • Forward the list of missing keys, including the last name, first name, and employee ID number of each affected flight attendant, to the designated Air France staff member at the end of the shift.

Loan Management

  • Provide: towels, pillows, blankets, or irons, throws, and pillowcases after the cabin crew has signed off on the list
  • Count the number of towels removed by the cleaning company after separating the dirty towels from the clean ones, and record this number in a computer file

Baggage Handling

  • Greet the flight crew and identify the owner of the luggage
  • Check in, tag, and store each piece of luggage according to procedures
  • Ensure the prompt and proper return of baggage using digital tools (PDAs)
  • Handle excess baggage according to the guidelines established by Air France

Tracking and Inventory

  • Check compliance with the various guidelines twice a month
  • Prepare and update the inventory of the coat check area

End-of-Day Inventory Check

  • Check that all rental items (phones, irons, room keys, blankets, pillowcases, etc.) are present and that each room is empty

Professional expertise

  • Service Expertise : Expertise in high-end service, with a constant focus on attention to detail and customer satisfaction
  • English language : Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Computer Science : Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office, communication tools)
  • Inventory Management : Proficiency in monitoring and managing inventory to prevent stockouts and ensure smooth service operations

Desired Qualifications

  • Training : Vocational diploma in hospitality or tourism, or significant experience in the field of trade show management or high-end services
  • Experience : At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
  • Additional Skills : Experience in managing customer service for an international clientele is a plus
